Christ's Home Retirement Community was founded in 1923 by Frederick Schwab and is a vital part of the larger ministry of Christ's Home, Inc. Our underlying belief is that Christ's Home belongs to Christ. This belief allows us to focus on providing a Christian program based on James 1:27 for the benefit of those we serve.

Since 1923, Christ's Home Retirement Community has been providing affordable, quality living for residents with various needs. Conveniently located less than a mile from shopping centers, restaurants, banks and churches, our community offers a unique country setting with the convenience of historical and cultural attractions nearby.

The mission of Christ's Home Retirement Community is to provide a caring home for aging adults, built on Biblical principles that will meet their social, spiritual, emotional, and health needs in an atmosphere graced with love, dignity, compassion and respect. Situated on 160 acres of farmland, Christ's Home serves over 120 residents in our continuing care retirement community. Our continuum of care consists of Independent Living Garden Apartments, Assisted Living Residence and a Healthcare Facility, all licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Should the need arise, residents of Christ's Home Retirement Community have the ability to move through our continuum of care based on a priority admission process. This priority access helps to eliminate some of the stress associated with a change in health.
